Before we dive into how to grow your small business without sacrificing quality & wellbeing

Let's talk about the typical challenges small businesses face

  • First: every business has challenges.
  • Second: while you are unique as a human being, your business and your business challenges are not unique.
  • Third: you can never become free of the challenges but they tend to change form and size when you grow and mature in your business.

Wrong Business Model

Many business owners have the wrong business model (for them). Example

  • A non-techie person with no desire to become technically skilled launches a webshop, which is one of the most technically challenging online business models. Running a profitable web shop requires high-level technical skills in traffic generation through digital advertising, organic marketing, SEO, the webshop infrastructure, and logistics. Sure, you can hire a team or an agency to run your shop for you, but you still need to know what skills you’re outsourcing.
  • A service professional wants to experience more free time but is stuck in the day-to-day client delivery. To achieve more free time while the business keeps growing, the whole delivery structure needs to change. This requires either changing the business model or building a team.

How business modeling & revenue stream designer can help you

If you feel that you have the wrong business model, you want to change your business model or scale your current model, I can help you. This is always bespoke and based on your unique skills, resources, and desires. I don’t do cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all business modeling, but help you (re)design your unique business model. I’ve designed:

  • online business models such as courses, memberships, e-com stores, marketplaces, digital publishing portals…
  • premium services such as high-end consulting, interior design, photography, and coaching programs…
  • local businesses such as stores, spas, restaurants…
  • global product brands, franchises, licensing…

I call this designing your signature business – a business that is aligned with your lifestyle, expertise, goals, and ambitions. This often consists of multiple revenue streams seamlessly working together, supporting your vision.

Brand & Customer Experience, Systems & Processes

Lack of Systems

Once you know what kind of model you want, you need systems.

I know, you might feel…

  • I can’t systemize because what I do is so unique…
  • I’m a creator, I don’t want systems…
  • It’s so boring…
  • Too complex for my liking…

I hear ya.

  • Some of my clients come kicking and screaming (not really), but still jump on the systemization train…
  • Some others are excited and intimidated…
  • Some are less excited than bored…

Whichever the situation, we DO systemize. And my superpower: I make it simple and fun!

Why systemize? And what-the-heck does it even mean?

Systemization means having systems and processes in place so you don’t have to stress about things such as where to get your next client, how to onboard your clients in a professional manner, how to communicate so that everyone is on board, how to run your projects effectively, how to grow your business while you enjoy your life.

You want that, don’t you?

Well then, systemization is the thing.

Better Profits, Bigger Impact, More Joy & Fulfillment

Systems create space to be creative. Systems create space to think bigger.
Systems create space to be present. Systems create space to outsource.
Systems create space to grow and scale. Systems create space to be with family.

Lost in The Digital

Do you feel a bit lost in the digital (but excited about the opportunities)?

If yes, you’re not alone.

  • The good news: digital skills are learnable skills, and they can be learned at any stage of your life.
  • The bad news: if you’re not yet on the digital train, you will be left behind.

Digitalization is here to stay, and you need to learn how to navigate the digital world. You don’t have to become a digital pro, but you need to become digitally confident to be able to strategize and outsource digital implementation and maintenance.

Digitalize to Achieve Your Lifestyle & Business Goals

Then again, you might want to digitalize your business to achieve your lifestyle goals. Systemization and digitalization are not the same thing, but they do tend to go hand-in-hand. Maybe you’re looking to design your business model to become more digital but don’t quite know what options you have, and where to start.

“uh, I’m so lost with all things digital…”

I get it. Most of my clients are. But also, over the years I have coached and consulted business owners, I can also say that most of them get rid of the tech fear, and become comfortable navigating through strategies and tactics regarding their tech needs.

Heck – some even start to like tech! (can’t promise you that, but I promise you will dislike it less)

Gain Digital Clarity. Become Digitally Confident. Change Your Life.

The beauty of digital businesses is that you have so many choices. You can create a fully digital business, partially digital; the ‘hybrid’ digital business, or just a foundationally digital business. The choice is yours – I can help you design and implement it!

Loneliness

I also know this: entrepreneurship is lonely.

We are weird people, and it’s very difficult to find someone who gets us. Sure, you’ve (hopefully) got family and friends who cheer you on and a network of other entrepreneurs. But, how many times do you actually talk deep and wide about your plans, strategize your next moves with them, and get feedback that fundamentally helps you take your business, leadership, and lifestyle to the next level?

Not much I guess.

Naturally, you feel lonely.

There are things you can’t bounce off with your team members. Having strategy meetings with your mirror image keeps you stuck at your current stage – there are things you just can’t see and ideas that you don’t know how to pull off.

I can become that person in your life. As a coach and consultant, I learn the ins and outs of your business, come up with great ideas and implementation structures, and help you make your ideas and dreams become a reality. While also creating a space for venting the emotional side of entrepreneurship… (I know you know what I mean).

Oh well, enough about the challenges.
